Participants of the 14th Rigips Trophy

The existing building, dating back to 1800, is a mixed structure combining timber framing and solid construction. It was previously used as a toy store with an attached residential house. Due to its small floor area of only 4 x 15 metres, the building was converted into a holiday home using space-saving constructions, including interior wall insulation. Furthermore, the surfaces needed to be highly impact-resistant and provide good sound insulation for use as a holiday home. For this reason, Rigidur gypsum fibreboards were used. The bathroom received a single-layer cladding with Glasroc X, which is approved for tiling. All edges were securely encased with Rigips Levelline to prevent damage caused by frequent changes of tenant.
