Rigidur Floor
Gypsum fiber screed elements
Rigidur® screed elements with coordinated system components. Advantages everyone can stand on.
Rigidur screed elements are made of highly compressed gypsum material reinforced with special paper fibers. The surrounding 50 mm wide stepped rebate enables a strong and overlapping installation, creating a cohesive dry screed surface. The exceptional quality properties of Rigidur screed elements allow for a system solution tailored to every flooring area:
- Ideal for new constructions, renovations, and refurbishments
- Adapted to sound, thermal, and fire protection requirements
- Suitable for underfloor heating systems
- Easy installation with prefabricated elements
- Less weight, therefore reduced ceiling load
- Fast, clean, and dry solution

System components for Rigidur floor elements - A system that fits perfectly together
Rigidur floor elements are safe, highly durable, and more flexible to install than traditional wet screed.
Thanks to the specially developed twin-strand nozzle for our Rigidur screed adhesive, installation is quick, clean, and efficient.
The tested system also includes:
Rigips edge strips made of mineral wool, Rigidur leveling fill, and Rigidur drywall screws.
Advantages you can build on with Rigidur...
Save time without drying periods
One of the outstanding advantages of the Rigidur flooring system compared to traditional screed is the extremely short construction time. While cement screed usually requires 28 days to dry, a floor covering can be applied to Rigidur dry screed floors after no more than 24 hours.
Suitable for all floor coverings
Rigidur screed elements provide a secure foundation for all common floor coverings, whether parquet, laminate, carpet, tiles, or vinyl.
Less weight, greater flexibility
Rigidur floor elements weigh less than half as much as cement screed of the same height. This significantly reduced ceiling load is accompanied by a higher degree of flexibility in designing your floor.
Also ideal for wet rooms
Rigidur floor elements are perfect for all domestic wet rooms such as bathrooms and kitchens.
Insulating uninhabited attics with Rigidur attic element 032 TF
Around 40% of total energy consumption and about one-third of CO2 emissions are attributable to buildings. Efficient thermal insulation in existing buildings significantly contributes to energy savings, increases property value, and not least enhances living comfort while conserving resources and protecting the environment.
High time for climate change in the attic
Strong arguments for attic insulation...
- Sustainable environmental protection
By energetically optimizing an average detached single-family house through insulation of the top floor ceiling, CO2 emissions can be reduced by approximately 28%, significantly contributing to climate protection. - Significant energy and cost savings – reduce heating costs by up to 90%
Insulating the top floor ceiling leads to a sustainable reduction in energy consumption and thus lowers heating costs. - Increase in property value – poor energy efficiency reduces property prices by 21%
In times of rising energy prices, even the appearance of an energy retrofit backlog negatively impacts the market value of a property.
Insulating the top floor ceiling is a suitable solution to meet the requirements of EnEV 2014 and sustainably improve the building's energy efficiency. This is also reflected in the classification in the energy certificate, ensuring long-term preservation or an increase in property value. - Additional use of the attic possibly even for expanding living space.
- No restrictions on rooms below the attic.

Rigips Compact: Rigidur Floor Element 20 & ISOVER Acoustic EP 3 – Two strong products for perfect sound insulation
We want to make construction better and safer. To achieve this, we develop systems and accessories that meet this goal. Rigidur screed elements feature special properties depending on their design, such as permissible loads, sound and fire protection, and thermal insulation. Additionally, they can be combined with other products to achieve an optimal floor structure.
True sound absorbers!
For optimal impact sound insulation on solid ceilings, we recommend a combination of the Rigidur Screed Element 20 by RIGIPS and the high-density ISOVER Akustic EP 3 stone wool screed insulation board. With a construction height of only 30 mm, this variant improves the standard market sound values by up to 3 dB. With a permissible point load of 1 kN and an area load of 2 kN/m2, this combination is suitable for living spaces and hotel rooms.
Rigidur Screed Elements 20 by RIGIPS and Akustic EP 3 by ISOVER – true sound absorbers!
Two strong partners
With the Rigidur Screed Element 20 and the ISOVER Akustic EP 3, a slim construction and simultaneously the best impact sound insulation of up to 3 dB compared to standard market constructions is possible. Impressive with an improvement of 25 dB at a construction height of approximately 30 mm and 28 dB at a construction height of approximately 40 mm. Furthermore, the installation of the top flooring can begin immediately after the dry screed is completed.
