Case Study

Harzberg Hall, Großbottwar

Nominee in the Ceiling Solutions Category at the 14th Rigips Trophy

The new Harzberg Hall in Großbottwar covers an area of 2,000 square metres and serves as a community and cultural centre. It was constructed using a wood-hybrid method. The hall's ceiling consists of individual acoustic segments, known as acoustic reflectors, which are angled at different angles to reflect and absorb sound. Light coves were implemented along the ceiling edges to provide indirect lighting. Various shaped parts and edge formations had to be created, among other things. Rigips Rigitone Activ’ Air 8/18 R acoustic boards, in combination with Rigips Die Harte boards, ensure balanced room acoustics.
