Special Prize for Surfaces at the 13th Rigips Trophy
Drywall with flair – that's the first thought that springs to mind when you enter the new youth hostel in downtown Munich. This is thanks, in part, to the large, sweeping plasterboard ceiling structure along the main façade. The wall cladding features organically curved designs that extend over two floors in some areas, seamlessly transitioning horizontally into the suspended ceiling structures. The numerous plasterboard cabinet niches and rounded features on the ground floor further enhance the unique spatial experience. Jaeger Ausbau München has created a true "jewel" through great dedication to detailed planning and, above all, expert surface treatment. All surfaces, edges and curves were finished to a perfect Q4 standard, ensuring a harmonious alignment of form and quality.
