Grand stage for the Kunstpalast
On the evening of the award ceremony, which was particularly festive, Kai Hofmann, the managing director of Ruben Peter Ausbau GmbH, and his wife Jana took to the stage to receive the silver trophy in front of a large audience. They were joined in celebration by the German winners of the 14th Rigips Trophy, who had also travelled to Paris to participate in the "Office Production" category (Okel GmbH & Co. KG, Diemelstadt; Sartorius Research and Development Building, Building 26, Göttingen), and "Ceiling Solutions" (Music Academy, Staufen; Günter Nagel Bauleistungsservice GmbH, Teningen).
German winning project honoured internationally
Back in February 2025, an independent jury decided the winners of the "World Championship of Drywall Construction" during a week-long session. The Kunstpalast was chosen as the venue, a listed building with a total area of 10,000 m², 5,000 m² of which had to be completely redesigned. Ruben Peter Ausbau GmbH was responsible for the complete renovation and faced numerous highly demanding tasks. These included six-metre-high curtain shells or walls, load-bearing fixtures, burglary protection and aesthetic requirements.
