Rigips compendium on structural fire protection extensively supplemented

Rigips Glasroc F (Ridurit) - top solutions for reliable planning & execution

Our newly revised compendium "Structural Fire Protection with Rigips Glasroc F (Ridurit) – Safe Planning and Execution" provides you with comprehensive information for the safe planning and execution of high-quality drywall constructions for preventive structural fire protection. On 336 pages, you will find:

● Detailed knowledge and up-to-date expertise on preventive structural fire protection
● All relevant solutions and systems with Rigips Glasroc F (Ridurit) in ONE document
● Comprehensive, detailed illustrations and connection details
● Including an overview of system variants

● Simplified work through an additional interactive flipbook (digital compendium):
● Many interactive links to other relevant documents such as product and safety data sheets, construction details, test certificates, and more.
● Web codes in the flipbook lead directly to the corresponding variant in the Rigips System Search

NEW: BW12GR and BW13GR – Rigips fire wall systems without metal sheets

The new compendium also includes the innovative fire wall systems without metal sheets BW12GR and BW13GR, including all details. These are executed as non-load-bearing, space-enclosing, and thermally insulated wall constructions in metal stud construction with symmetrical two-layer (BW12GR) or three-layer (BW13GR) cladding.

The new systems offer significant advantages:

Customer benefits: convenience and cost-effectiveness

● Installation is easier and faster compared to systems with steel sheet inserts. Especially, the screwing process is significantly simpler.
● The lower layers of the cladding are simply tightly joined and not filled, which leads to material and time savings. Filling the upper layer serves more decorative purposes.
● All execution variants (Rigips Glasroc F (Ridurit) 12.5 or 15 mm) require only ONE type of board material. This simplifies planning and installation.
● The new Rigips fire wall solution without metal sheets has been patent-pending.

New in the Rigips System Search – a few clicks to the right solution

Our proven Rigips System Search is also your helpful assistant for quickly finding and easily selecting the appropriate fire protection solution and offers several practical and innovative updates.

Important Documents and Helpful Services for Each System Variant:

● Detailed layer structure with a clear list of all products used in the variant
● Download relevant product and safety data sheets centrally in one place
● Using the quantity calculator, you receive a detailed list of required products along with article numbers after entering the dimensions.
● Clear material and quantity list including accessory products, which greatly simplifies purchasing from specialised retailers; list downloadable as PDF and CSV files
● Detail and section drawings support construction execution.
● You receive a list of associated test certificates, which you can request directly via "Request Test Certificates."
● Via "Specification Texts," you can conveniently access the well-known specification text service.

The Rigips System Search is also closely integrated with our new interactive flipbook, which is the digital version of our compendium "Structural Fire Protection": clicking on the corresponding web code in the flipbook opens the relevant system variant in a new browser window.

The web code enables the respective system variant to be clearly identified and quickly accessed by entering it into the search field on our website or in the system search. It also ensures that everyone involved in the construction project uses the same system variant. This avoids lengthy searches and coordination efforts, as well as potential misunderstandings, saving you a lot of time.

New additional calculation tools for structural claddings and duct constructions

Structural claddings

Within the system search, a practical calculation tool for determining the profile factor and minimum cladding thickness for steel beam cladding and steel column cladding is now available.

Duct constructions

The calculation tool for cable ducts and installation ducts is used to determine the cladding or wall thickness of duct constructions, depending on the level of fire exposure and the design of the duct.

Using the specifications for the fire resistance class, fire exposure, cable design and necessary interior dimensions, the appropriate system variant is selected. Additional information on quantity calculation and CAD details is also available.

We also offer MEP planners the right solution with excellent performance values: the compact system overview "Cable and service ducts with Rigips Glasroc F (Ridurit)" allows you to quickly identify the most suitable construction for your requirements.
