New brand identity of RIGIPS

Consistency that stands the test of time

When the first plasterboard factory on the European mainland was opened in Riga in 1938 (laying the foundation for the later brand name "RIGIPS"), no one could have predicted that the company would become one of the leading drywall manufacturers and that its name would become a generic term for an entire industry:
Today, the "Rigips board" is synonymous with the strengths and versatility of modern drywall construction, and it even has its own entry in the German dictionary Duden!

RIGIPS - pioneer of drywall construction

As a pioneer in drywall construction, RIGIPS has continuously advanced building methods and applications, while also investing in contemporary design and brand recognition. "Rigips Blue" is now widely known across the industry and the company's previous logo, introduced in 1996, remains etched in the memory of many customers and partners. It featured three diagonally arranged "drywall boards" and a globe next to the brand name.

But RIGIPS wouldn't be RIGIPS if it relied on its well-established reputation. We know that: A brand requires just as much care as relationships with customers and partners do. Accordingly, RIGIPS's appearance evolves with the times while remaining unmistakable!

From July 2023 onwards, our new logo will gradually start to appear on more and more of our packaging and materials, as well as at our public events.

Despite all the modernisation, our constancy is also evident here. Because: "Rigips Blue" remains an integral part of the brand, and the brand name is still introduced by symbolically depicted Rigips boards. At the same time, the new logo blends in perfectly with the updated brand identities of Saint-Gobain’s sister companies, ISOVER and Weber. This reflects not only the companies' shared affiliation with the globally active Saint-Gobain Group, but also their undeniable and tangible connection.

Anyone who sees one of these logos can be confident that they are tapping into the expertise of our professionals, whether they need advice on drywall, insulation materials or façade and flooring.
