A new hero is wanted for the "AUSBAU HELD" competition
Apply now for the Junior Championship for Drywall Installers!
The German Junior Championship for Drywall Installers will take place for the twelfth time on 15 November 2024. On this day, the "AUSBAU HELD 2024" title will be awarded: aspiring junior drywall installers are invited to showcase their craftsmanship by competing against each other. Find out more at www.ausbau-held.de.
As part of the annual AUSBAU HELD competition, the best drywall apprentices of the year are sought. During the day-long competition at the Construction Industry Training Centre Hamm (ABZ Hamm), the young professionals must demonstrate their practical skills to the expert jury. Participants must have successfully completed training as a drywall installer.
Countering the shortage of skilled workers and young talent
The AUSBAU HELD is organised in partnership with the Federal Specialist Department for Drywall and Interior Construction of the German Construction Industry Association (BFA ATB), as well as the Federal Association for Drywall and Interior Construction Trades (BIG). The junior championship is also supported by co-sponsor SAINT-GOBAIN RIGIPS. "In times of a noticeable shortage of skilled workers and young talent everywhere, it is particularly important to us to actively promote the profession of drywall installer and present it to a broad audience", explains Martin Büsch, Head of Marketing Communications at Rigips and Isover. "We want to encourage every interested apprentice: Take this opportunity and participate in AUSBAU HELD 2024! The construction industry and society as a whole need your expertise and commitment."
All information about the German Junior Championship and the opportunity to register can be found at www.ausbau-held.de. Registration closes on 27 September 2024.
