New and significantly expanded compendium on structural fire protection
Plan and execute fire protection constructions safely with Rigips Glasroc F (Ridurit)
Drywall specialist RIGIPS has completely revised its proven planning guide for structural fire protection. The current compendium, "Structural Fire Protection with Rigips Glasroc F (Ridurit)", has been significantly expanded and now focuses on providing a comprehensive overview of the various fire protection systems and solutions related to the new, high-performance Rigips Glasroc F (Ridurit) fire protection board. All fire protection solutions involving the fleece-reinforced special board have been tested again, enabling users of the reference work to benefit from the latest test results and performance values for structural fire protection. The new compendium is available for free download at rigips.de/glasrocf. The new fire protection solutions can also be found in the proven online system search at rigips.de/rigips-systemsuche.
For several decades, RIGIPS has been synonymous with the highest standards of quality, safety and reliability in fire protection. This is evidenced by numerous certificates of applicability and usability.
Current test results and findings
In its new compendium, which is almost twice the size of the previous version, the drywall specialist has compiled all the latest findings and test results on structural fire protection in a clear and user-friendly way. The newly published data is based on the latest tests of all fire protection solutions featuring the high-performance Rigips Glasroc F (Ridurit) fire protection board.
From firewalls to duct constructions to structural cladding
Rigips Glasroc F (Ridurit) enables the creation of high-quality, economical fire protection constructions. The compendium provides comprehensive guidance on reinforcing structural cladding and duct constructions. The new graphical representation of the systems and variants is particularly advantageous as it is detailed and easy to follow. The new design of the self-supporting ceiling is also illustrated for the first time—just one example of how the range of high-quality fire protection solutions has expanded to include diverse wall and ceiling systems. Drywall professionals will also be interested in the comprehensive presentation of firewall solutions in non-load-bearing and load-bearing designs.
Valuable for practical use is the detailed information on fire protection cladding for steel columns and beams, and the construction of cable and installation ducts. Another key topic is the reinforcement of shafts and partition walls using Rigips Glasroc F (Ridurit). Numerous illustrations clarify important details such as floor and ceiling connections, column connections and corner formations.
Quick and easy to use
The new fire protection compendium from RIGIPS showcases a particularly extensive and detailed range of structural fire protection solutions. Its thematic organisation by application area, along with graphical representations, makes searching for project-specific fire protection solutions particularly simple and effective. The individual chapters are structured in the same way as the previous edition, making the reference work easy to use.
Online System Search has also been set up
All new fire protection solutions can also be found in the proven online system search. This has also been completely restructured based on the new data for fire protection systems with Rigips Glasroc F (Ridurit). Thanks to the new system and variant representation, users can quickly and easily find the exact solution they need for their construction project. Only a few characteristics need to be entered to find the precise application. Once the filtered system has been selected, further information, construction details, test certificates and other planning data for the system are immediately available via the online system search.
Additionally, two new calculation tools have been added to the system search. One tool determines the profile factor and minimum cladding thickness for steel column and beam cladding. The other tool calculates the cladding or wall thickness of duct constructions according to fire exposure and duct design for cables and installation ducts. Further details can be found at rigips.de/rigips-systemsuche.
