Intelligent software solution in timber construction
Rigidur H gypsum fiberboards and Rigips Glasroc X – simple static calculations online
Amid major challenges facing the construction industry, the popularity of timber construction is growing. Intelligent structural analysis programmes are available to help with the planning and execution of sophisticated timber construction projects, reducing the time and effort spent on planning and enabling precise and rapid implementation. The current specifications of the highly robust Rigips Rigidur H gypsum fibreboard are stored in the well-known and popular "Dietrich’s Horizontalstatik" software for structural calculations. This intelligent software solution also allows for the simple and reliable calculation of more extensive constructions. Additionally, the current product data for the moisture-resistant gypsum board Rigips Glasroc X can now be accessed in Horizontalstatik. This modern structural analysis programme is a useful tool for planners, engineers, timber builders, carpenters and structural engineers.

From wind loads to load flow
Modern structural analysis software can verify bracing timber board walls and beam ceilings according to Eurocode 5 in the shortest possible time. As well as considering the load-bearing capacity for vertical loads, bracing through cladding materials such as OSB or gypsum fibreboards must also be considered. HorizontalStatik allows calculations to be generated for wind loads, as well as organising and documenting load flow for building bracing. Structural analysis is performed directly on the building model. Upon completion of the process, users receive comprehensive verification reports for timber frame walls and beam ceilings.
Always up-to-date data
The database stores all product specifications for the robust Rigips Rigidur H gypsum fibreboards and the highly moisture- and mould-resistant Rigips Glasroc X for quick access. The intuitive software makes the structural analysis program particularly user-friendly. To keep the database up to date, the catalogue of included materials is regularly updated. Another advantage: for structural calculations, only the board type, thickness and fasteners need to be entered into the system — the software solution handles the "rest".
