The Glasroc X stele is now permanently exposed to wind and weather!
Now on display at many Rigips dealers – the Rigips Glasroc X outdoor stele:
The Rigips Glasroc X can be exposed directly to the weather temporarily, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. To demonstrate this unique feature, we have created an outdoor stele, which will be exhibited in the outdoor area at selected dealers.
This stele consists of a metal frame that encloses a Rigips Glasroc X board.
The graphic at the top of the stele shows the installation date. This indicates how long the stele has been exposed to the elements. Standard paving slabs from the dealer’s range should be used to provide weight and ensure stability.

Rigips Glasroc X
Rigips Glasroc X is a fleece-reinforced gypsum board designed for use in the construction of high-quality drywall systems in damp and wet rooms, as well as exterior ceilings and walls in timber construction. It is a true all-rounder with a variety of system advantages:
- Lightweight enables easier and safer working
- Scoring & snapping for easy & efficient processing
- Cutting is also possible with a circular saw and a guide rail
- Safe in system with matching accessories
- Very high dimensional stability, reliable substrate for plaster
- Building material of class A1 – suitable for structures with increased fire protection requirements
- The moisture- and mould-resistant gypsum core is securely encased in a glass fleece
- Glasroc X may be exposed to weather temporarily, providing time flexibility during the construction phase
As the exterior of a building, the wall serves as both the functional framework and the "clothing" – a shield that must withstand wind, weather, noise and potentially even fire. Gypsum has long played a significant role in exterior wall design. From now on, it will play an even more central role. This is because Rigips now also offers a safe, system-tested solution for use in exterior walls with the proven Glasroc X fleece-reinforced gypsum board.
