More than 10 million views: installation guides as well as RIGIPS product and system videos

For around 20 years, drywall specialist RIGIPS has been developing and producing engaging and informative videos that address questions and challenges in modern drywall construction. Many of the topics covered are presented in a largely self-explanatory manner, which has made the videos increasingly popular worldwide. This popularity is reflected in the current download figures on the company's own YouTube channel, which was set up in 2011 and now has over 31,000 subscribers. The drywall and construction solutions shown have inspired users more than 10,000,000 times.

There have been more than 10 million views on www.youtube.com/c/RigipsDe/videos and www.rigips.de/videos. The most popular videos on both channels are clearly illustrated installation guides for suspended ceilings, door openings, partition walls with substructures and attic conversions.

"Evaluations show that the majority of our users are aged between 25 and 44", explains Anatol Bunke, project manager and online editor at RIGIPS. "Our videos serve as a basic explanation of certain topics, as well as a quick "refresher" for specific questions, such as how to build a partition wall or a soundproof ceiling."

Accordingly, the most frequently viewed videos are clearly illustrated installation guides on how to create suspended ceilings, door openings and partition walls with substructures, as well as attic conversions. Each of these videos has significantly surpassed the one-million-click mark. "In addition to these technical yet easily understandable processing videos, the top downloads also include films on more general topics. Aspects such as sound insulation, fire protection and moisture protection are presented in a visually striking manner. For many users, these videos, which typically have runtimes of one to three minutes, are a valuable source of inspiration. They vividly demonstrate the advantages of high-performance drywall systems, especially compared to traditional solid construction methods", says Anatol Bunke.

In addition to the technical yet easily understandable processing videos, there are also films on more general topics among the top downloads at RIGIPS. Topics such as sound insulation, fire protection, moisture protection and the implementation of a high-performance underfloor heating system with Rigidur screed elements are presented in a visually striking manner. These concise videos are a valuable source of inspiration for many users.
