Another crucial advantage: the new system search exclusively identifies and displays the optimal variant that meets all requirements and includes all relevant features. The Rigips System Search is a popular and widely used tool among drywall professionals, tradespeople, planners and architects. Thanks to its recent optimisation and rapid display of suitable system variants, the time spent searching for the best execution option has been minimised. Rather than offering many alternative variants, the new search system determines the variant that best aligns with all requirements. "For example, if the construction is otherwise identical, only the thinnest wall design will be suggested. Likewise, if the requirements profile specifies that sound insulation with Rw = 54 dB is sufficient, the most cost-effective solution will be displayed. This ensures that construction costs do not exceed what is absolutely necessary," explains Harald Longerich, Technical Editor at Saint-Gobain Rigips GmbH.
Fast and easy to the goal
During the transition period, the Rigips System Search will be available as usual at all times. The new system search is already active for wall constructions. After selecting the component, you can enter the requirements profile right at the beginning and adjust it later on the results page if needed. Once a system variant has been selected and displayed, individual parameters can be modified with just one click on the pencil icon. A search for the most suitable and economical variant within the same system will then be run again.
Important documents and helpful services
RIGIPS provides important documents and helpful services for each individual system variant. These include a detailed layer structure containing a clear list of all the products used in the variant, as well as the option to download relevant product and safety data sheets. One valuable service is the quantity calculator, which significantly simplifies purchases from specialist retailers. The detailed and section drawings provided are a great help during construction work and can be used flexibly on smartphones or tablets. Through "Further Services", users can view specification texts and access the Rigips soundproofing calculator. All necessary test certificates can also be requested via an online form.
