Rigips System Search enhanced with new features for drywall professionals

The Rigips system search now offers additional helpful features: the newly added quantity calculation tool provides a quick and accurate way to determine material costs for a wide range of Rigips systems. For wall systems, the time required to assemble the selected system is also displayed, calculated directly based on the measurements entered in the calculation tool. The expanded calculation function benefits drywall professionals, specialist dealers, planners and architects equally. In just seconds, the calculation tool determines the specific installation effort. This means that, compared to manual calculation, the time required is minimised.

The Rigips system search now has a new calculation function: with just a few clicks, you can access reliable data on labour times and material costs, saving you a lot of time that would otherwise be spent on your own time-consuming search. Another major advantage of the tool is that it automatically calculates and displays the gross list prices of all Saint-Gobain materials based on the dimensions of the components entered.

For years, the manufacturer's system search has been a widely used and proven tool for quickly accessing Rigips’s high-performance drywall systems. The intuitive search system begins with selecting the appropriate component. The suitable, individually configurable system variant is then determined and displayed immediately afterwards.

Support for professional drywall installation

RIGIPS provides important documents and helpful services for every system variant in the system search. 'This includes an expanded quantity calculation function to supplement the system search. This makes this popular tool even more powerful and enables us to support professional drywallers more effectively in their work", explains Martin Büsch, Head of Marketing Communications at RIGIPS. “Accessing reliable data on labour times and material costs with just a few clicks is a valuable aid for planning and calculation, and it relieves specialist contractors. Another major advantage of the tool is that it automatically calculates and displays the gross list prices of all Saint-Gobain materials based on the entered component dimensions."

Optimised result display

As part of the update to the Rigips System Search, the graphical display of results has been optimised: "A decisive factor was the extensive feedback from the many users who use the tool daily. The system search results display has been improved, with systems and system variants now visually separated. Variants can be accessed with a single click on the corresponding button below the system’s cross-section graphic. This simplifies the selection of the appropriate system variant", says Martin Büsch.

A collapsible, tabular overview of other system variants matching the filter selection is now displayed below the tile. The columns in the table can be sorted in ascending or descending order. You can still access additional system information via the "More information about the system" button, which shows the maximum system properties.
