New at DACH+HOLZ 2026: new blown-in insulation wool developed specifically for timber construction

ISOVER InsulSafe® Prefab: efficient, safe and flexible

ISOVER InsulSafe® Prefab blow-in wool is an innovative solution for the factory or on-site filling of components constructed using timber board or timber frame methods. This efficient, lightweight and settlement-resistant mineral wool has been specifically developed for insulating exterior walls, ceilings and pitched roofs. It can be quickly and cleanly introduced into cavities using all common blow-in systems, providing ideal conditions for homogeneous filling. This new blow-in wool achieves the required insulation performance at comparatively low raw densities, offering excellent fire protection and outstanding sound and thermal insulation.

ISOVER presents InsulSafe® Prefab blow-in wool as an innovative solution for the factory filling or on-site insulation of components constructed using timber board or timber frame methods. Thanks to its comparatively low bulk density, moderate material consumption is guaranteed. The blow-in insulation also enables high processing speeds and is particularly user-friendly.

ISOVER InsulSafe® Prefab is a blown-in insulation optimised for serial timber frame construction. It demonstrates its full performance strength, particularly during automated applications in prefabrication production lines. It is compatible with all common mobile and stationary blow-in machines (X-Floc, etc.). The insulation wool can be introduced quickly and cleanly into cavities or compartments, and it adapts flexibly to walls, ceilings and pitched roofs, reaching even the smallest corners and angles. This prevents thermal bridges reliably while avoiding costly waste and offcuts. InsulSafe® Prefab thus provides the ideal conditions for the homogeneous filling of cavities.

Convincing insulation properties, settlement-resistant, low consumption

This lightweight, efficient, non-combustible (Euroclass A1) blow-in insulation is recommended for its excellent thermal and acoustic properties. In accordance with DIN 4108-10 (DI, DZ, WH, WI, WTR), it is used for insulating exterior walls, ceilings and pitched roofs. With WLG 035 at a bulk density of 30–40 kg/m³ and WLS 034 at a bulk density of 40–50 kg/m³, the mineral wool demonstrates its exceptional insulating properties. Its tested settlement resistance of ≤1% according to ETA begins at 35 kg/m³. Thanks to its comparatively low bulk density, moderate material consumption is ensured. The blow-in insulation also enables high processing speeds and is particularly user-friendly.

ISOVER InsulSafe® Prefab is compatible with all standard mobile and fixed blow-in machines. The insulation wool can be introduced quickly and cleanly into cavities or compartments, and it adapts flexibly to walls, ceilings and pitched roofs, reaching even the smallest corners and angles.

Perfectly coordinated accessories

To ensure maximum safety in terms of building physics during use, we provide precisely coordinated system products from the proven Vario® airtightness and moisture protection system. These include the highly tear-resistant, moisture-variable climate membrane with fleece lamination Vario® XtraSafe; the multifunctional single-sided adhesive tape Vario® MultiTape+ for bonding overlaps, as well as Vario® Patches for airtight bonding blow-in openings.

ISOVER InsulSafe® Cavity – blow-in insulation for double-leaf masonry

Simultaneously with InsulSafe® Prefab for timber construction, ISOVER presents the new InsulSafe® Cavity – a powerful on-site insulation for double-leaf masonry (WZ) as part of subsequent core insulation. This blow-in insulation also features excellent insulation properties with WLG 035 at a bulk density of 30-40 kg/m³, is settlement-resistant, water-repellent, and non-combustible (Euroclass A1). Processing with mobile blow-in machines is quick, easy, and reliable through certified specialist companies.

InsulSafe® Prefab blow-in insulation is lightweight, efficient, non-combustible (Euroclass A1), and recommended for its excellent sound and thermal protection. In accordance with DIN 4108-10 (DI, DZ, WH, WI, WTR), it is used for insulating exterior walls, ceilings and pitched roofs.
