New at DACH+HOLZ 2026: Conserving resources, protecting the climate, enhancing living comfort

ISOVER Lanaé enriches modern timber construction

With ISOVER Lanaé, wood construction professionals now have access to a highly user-friendly and innovative insulation material "by their side". This new, climate-friendly mineral wool is made from up to 80 per cent recycled glass, produces significantly less dust during processing than similar products and has been proven to promote healthy living environments. As with its existing range of glass wool products for interior construction, ISOVER is gradually transitioning timber construction applications to this high-performance, resource-efficient wool. The transition for the well-established timber construction felt Kontur HBF-034 has already been completed. From March 2026, the Kontur HBF-031 wood construction felt and Kontur HBP-031 timber construction boards will also be available in the exceptional Lanaé quality.

With ISOVER Lanaé, wood construction professionals now have access to a highly user-friendly and innovative insulation material "by their side". This new, climate-friendly mineral wool is made from up to 80 per cent recycled glass. It generates significantly less dust during processing than similar products and has been proven to promote healthy living environments.

In terms of processing, performance and resource conservation, Lanaé boasts a variety of excellent properties. The new wool is easier to handle, more pleasant to work with, easier to cut, and simpler to install. Lanaé also has a soft surface and firm structure. It generates hardly any dust, is odour-neutral, and has been proven to promote healthy living environments. In addition to the RAL quality mark and the "Blue Angel, Lanaé has been awarded the "Eurofins Indoor Air Comfort Gold", a Europe-wide quality mark that recognises products with particularly high standards for healthy indoor air.

Up to 80 per cent recycled glass

Lanaé consists of up to 80 per cent recycled glass and is manufactured using a patented binder based on substances derived from sugar and grain production. Furthermore, the mineral wool is highly compressible: storage and transport volumes are significantly reduced, making handling more climate-friendly and economical. The special climate-friendliness is also reflected in the highly recyclable packaging of Lanaé products. Recycling is made possible, among other things, by a special packaging design with significantly reduced printing. Lanaé wool and the new packaging can be returned and recycled via ISOVER's EASY ECO Recycling Service.

As a Euroclass A1 insulation material, Lanaé mineral wool is naturally non-combustible. Its low thermal conductivity of up to λD = 0.031 W/(m·K) allows for thinner insulation layers and correspondingly slimmer constructions for walls, roofs and ceilings, without compromising on thermal protection in summer or winter.

With the transition to Lanaé, customers benefit from the excellent properties of the innovative ISOVER mineral wool — also with the timber construction felt Kontur HBF-034 and, starting in March 2026, with the timber construction felt Kontur HBF-031 and the timber construction board Kontur HBP-031. The high-performance insulation felts and timber construction boards are offered in a prefabricated width of 575 mm.
