14th Rigips Trophy '24 | '25

After the Rigips Trophy is before the Rigips Trophy – this "rule" has always applied to Germany's most prestigious drywall competition. While the winners of the 13th Rigips Trophy were crowned in March 2023 during a festive gala event, preparations are already underway for the upcoming competition cycle, which features some changes to the participation modalities.

After the Rigips Trophy is before the Rigips Trophy: Preparations and registrations for the 14th Rigips Trophy 2024 I 2025 are now underway. By making some optimisations to the competition modalities, RIGIPS has made participation simpler yet even more promising. More at www.rigips.de/trophy.

In general, all construction projects whose completion is guaranteed by September 2024 are eligible to participate. As with previous Rigips Trophies, projects that demonstrate exceptional craftsmanship are most likely to succeed. "Interested drywall companies should simply contact their RIGIPS representative directly", explains Karin Melder, who has coordinated the Trophy for many years. "Of course, our sales colleagues also proactively approach specialised craft companies with outstanding construction achievements. The application documents are then compiled in close collaboration between the drywall company and the Rigips representative. This significantly reduces the workload for participating companies", says Karin Melder. Participation in the 14th Rigips Trophy automatically counts as a nomination for the specialised companies.

"Professional visual material is the "business card" of the construction project and a key factor in its success. In the future, RIGIPS will provide even better support to participants in this area. Project presentations to the independent jury will then take place online in autumn 2024. This will be done by the RIGIPS project manager and, if desired, a representative of the respective specialised company. This allows the special construction achievements to be explained in greater detail", explains Karin Melder. During the jury session, the expert jury will select the most convincing projects in the Residential Construction and Non-Residential Construction categories, as well as the first-, second- and third-place winners in the Drywall main category.

Special awards and participation in the International Trophy continue to "attract"

Based on the positive experiences from the last two Rigips Trophies, RIGIPS has retained the option of awarding one or more special prizes for outstanding "individual achievements" in the upcoming competition. Whether and which special prizes will be awarded is decided by the jury during the deliberation round. Additionally, the three winners of the golden trophies will have the opportunity, a few weeks after the German awards ceremony – another "good old" tradition – to compete with colleagues from around the world at the Saint-Gobain Gypsum International Trophy.
