From September this year, Rigips screws will gradually be released in a brand new design, featuring a new logo and fresh corporate identity, as well as new sustainable packaging made from recycled materials.
To ensure that the right screw is available for every requirement and application in drywall construction, RIGIPS has long offered a wide selection of professional and DIY screw types.
Under the motto: "Rated: especially worth turning! The right Rigips screw for every drywall board – colour-coded and sustainably packaged” RIGIPS has harmonised its entire screw range across all distribution channels. As part of the current logo and corporate identity update, the packaging has been optimised and the master data (information on GTIN package/carton/pallet) revised.
New communication, fresh design, and sustainable packaging
The new Rigips packaging features a fresh design with a simple, minimalist graphical format and no lengthy text. Various graphic elements and pictograms facilitate quick international comprehension. Information on important details such as screw length, size and package content is emphasised with large font sizes.
The implementation of a "colour system/colour coding" for the different screw types makes their area of application or usage possibility immediately apparent.
The front side of the screw packages displays the main icons.
The back side contains various pictograms alongside the CE marking, providing information on application, processing, storage, screw spacing, reach, consumption, etc.
The integrated QR code directs customers straight to the product database, where they can find additional details and the corresponding product data sheets, declarations of performance, etc.
The new packaging is made from 100% recycled cardboard, which is clearly visible thanks to its cardboard appearance, and is completely free of laminated film. This makes both production and disposal straightforward.
There will be a period of coexistence between the old and new packaging, during which the new delivery formats will be introduced gradually.
