Reliable performance and load-bearing solution for modern timber construction by RIGIPS

The manufacturer has compiled all relevant product information and areas of application in a clear document alongside the official ETA (08/0147), which is now available to download for free.

The new, expanded ETA for Rigidur H now includes gypsum fibreboards with a thickness of 18 mm. Along with Rigidur H 12.5 and Rigidur H 15, all relevant board thicknesses for timber construction are now documented in a single ETA for structural calculation. Also added are values for the use of Rigidur H in earthquake-prone areas, for which a General Construction Approval is also available.

In accordance with EN 520, Rigidur H also meets the requirements for board type DF (fire protection board). Rigidur H 18 enables timber constructions to be designed and implemented that meet the fire protection requirements specified in the Model Timber Construction Directive. Buildings constructed in accordance with the MHolzBauRL regulations can therefore be erected with proof of compliance for load-bearing and stabilising structures according to the ETA. A single layer of Rigidur H 18 provides 30 minutes of protection, while a double layer provides 60 minutes.

Valid for all edge types – no reduction necessary

Due to the special manufacturing process of Rigidur H gypsum fibreboards, all static parameters listed in the ETA for standard thicknesses are also valid in the tapered AK edge area.
