New tender specification texts – more up-to-date, higher quality, less effort

Rigips makes it easier to prepare specifications with new and optimised specification texts

To make the daily work of planners, architects, specialist engineers and tendering offices easier, drywall specialist RIGIPS has spent the past few months thoroughly revising and expanding its specification texts. With around 5,000 newly created and updated items, the manufacturer now provides a modern, future-proof basis for efficiently creating specifications. The new texts can be found at rigips.de/RiAS, as well as via the relevant links in the Rigips system search at rigips.de/systemsuche.

The new specification texts are based on Rigips’ current systems and solutions, taking into account today’s system variants, as well as the latest product and performance data for all wall and ceiling systems, ducts and structural claddings. The revision aimed to simplify tendering processes, improve the quality of service descriptions and reduce the effort required by users.

Focusing on the essentials accelerates the planning process

"Our customers rightly expect specification texts that are up to date, clear and immediately usable", explains Christoph Lenker, the development engineer responsible for Rigips system management. "With this new generation of specification texts, we are laying the basis for significantly more efficient planning and tendering, even for complex drywall constructions such as fire protection systems. We have incorporated the latest standards and product information. Updated, technically precise specification texts, along with the reduction of unnecessary options and repetitions, now make the process faster and easier. This paves the way for the further digitalisation and automation of planning processes." All texts also have a uniform structure across the various system solutions, providing additional clarity.

Effective immediately, new specification texts for walls, ceilings, ducts and structural cladding are available online via the Rigips system search, in the specifications area or via ausschreiben.de. Over the coming months, further component areas, such as roofs, timber construction and floors, as well as radiation protection, details and special services, will gradually be brought up to the new standard. Until each update and transition takes place, the previous specification texts remain available for download on the Rigips website in GAEB format: rigips.de/alle-downloads and there select the category “Ausschreibungstexte”.
