The Rigips reinforcement tape is a self-adhesive glass mesh tape with an optimally adjusted width.
Field of application
The self-adhesive glass mesh tape - Rigips mesh reinforcement strip - is to be used with Rigidur gypsum fiberboards with beveled longitudinal edges. The substructure must be as free as possible from movements caused by humidity or temperature fluctuations. The application is carried out directly on the abutting AK joints, and then the joint area is filled or smoothed with joint filler, e.g., VARIO joint filler from Rigips.
